The Weekend Edit: Casual Fall Style

Weekends are always so busy for me. Whether I’m going out with friends, running errands, or doing solo shopping excursions, I’m constantly on the go. This past weekend was no exception, with a little bit of everything sprinkled into my daily routine. Generally I like to be as comfortable as possible on weekends (unless I’m going somewhere special, of course), so my weekend style will often reflect that. This series will show off my weekend style in all aspects.

I’ll start with my jeans, because my entire style for Saturday was centered around them. I purchased these ripped boyfriend jeans from Fashion Nova over a year ago, and I had no idea how to style them (because I never wear distressed clothing). I was at a bar in Northwest DC on Friday night, and was inspired by a woman I saw wearing ripped jeans and a leather jacket. I love these jeans because not only are they completely different from my usual style (dark wash skinnies), they are also extremely comfortable. I wore black stockings underneath to avoid my skin showing through, as it was still a bit chilly outside.
I’ve had this grandpa sweater for so many years, it’s amazing that it still fits and has a shape after being washed countless times. I love oversized cardigans because they’re super cozy, and great layering pieces. This one is from a local boutique that has since gone out of business, but I will link a similar look below.
One of my favorite pairs of everyday shoes for colder weather are my Timberland suede boots. These are a staple in my wardrobe because they are the perfect casual shoe for running errands, chill dates, or just hanging out with my friends. They generally aren’t cheap, but can easily be found at Marshall’s for a more reasonable price. If you have small feet like I do, buy children’s sizes to save money!

I purchased this black faux leather bucket bag from Zara last fall. I really love this bag because it’s versatile, chic and affordable. I’m not usually a fan of bucket-type bags (which have no pockets), but this one is amazing quality, and is great for a night out or a quick fall outing with friends. I’m not entirely sure this exact bag is still sold, but I will link a similar look below.
My watch from JORD goes perfectly with this look as well (use my code “naturallykam25sp” to save some money!). My square earrings are from Anarchy Street, a boutique in LA. My headwrap is actually a scarf from Forever21! It came in handy for this weekend, since my hair wasn’t (and still isn’t) done. (lol!)

Being from NY timbs are a staple in my shoe collection. And like you I shop the kids footwear because I have small feet. Loved that cardigan you had on!
